"The first meeting of the Pine Cone Troop Committee of the Gilrs Scouts of America met at the home of Mrs. John Miller, Acton St.. The following members were present: Mrs. P. J. Sullivan, Mrs. John Shaw, Mrs. Amy Archer, Mrs. Joseph Foster, Mrs. William Hayward, Mrs. Frank Sanderson, Mrs. Mark Newton, Mrs. Marion Wilcox, Mrs. John Miller, Mrs. John Nordberg and Mrs.David M. Angell. Each one paid a membrship fee of two dollars. Mrs. Julius Gruber also paid.
