A brown envelope found in a collection of correspondence related to the railroad and a Mr. Davis, ca 1849. The envelope has inscribed on the back "Bent & Bush Hat Manufacturing Co., Cor. of Court & Washington Sts., Boston". The front of the envelope has in pencil the following wording "R. L. Davis, Esq., Mrs. Geo Smith, Stowe". Additional printing is unreadable.
