According to a newspaper account of the parade: " ... The other was a loom in operation weaving cloth, a feature presented by the Assabet mills, with John Graham as fixer, Everett Marchant in charge of a portable motor, and Sam Ayotte in the act of weaving." **

Based on research of the photograph:

The truck is a Packard 3-ton Model E or early Model F (circa 1912–1914)

The loom is the back side (takeup side) of a Crompton & Knowles Fancy Woolen Loom with a Knowles Dobby Head.

According to the 1920 census Sam Ayotte and Everett Marchant were loom fixers. Sam's wife, Rose, was a weaver. We speculate that the woman in the photo is Rose.

We have not yet identified on what street this photo was taken. The parade route was long and ambiguous as described in the newspaper articles.
