A Report of the Investigating Committee regarding the difficulty brewing between Howland Contractors and the Water Works of Maynard/Water Works Commissioners. The Report highlights the politics of the day regarding the laying of water pipes on private ways and subsequent approval of all orders and expenses by one Commissioner Nyman, contrary to the wishes of the Town.
