Vintage Retractable Red Wall Mounted Clothesline Reel

The reel is made to be mounted on a wall or post with the rope to be fastened on a hook on any opposing wall or post. The reel has a winding crank that facilitates the end of the clothesline being removed from a hook and then reeled in when the clothesline is not in use. There is a swivel lock adjacent to the wood crank handle to keep the reel in a fixed position to avoid the clothesline from sagging due to the weight of wet hanging clothes.
