Description
James Mullin, for many years a town official, was the Chief Marshall of a parade on the occasion of the Barbecue at John A. Crowe Park on October 12, 1916. He led the parade from lower Main St. to Crowe Park mounted on a horse belonging to Mr. Nelson of Stow, a long time milkman in Maynard. The picture was taken on Acton Street near corner of Summer St.
