A newspaper clipping of Fred Wilder, Catcher. Mr. Wilder had a long career with organized baseball. A life-long resident of Maynard, he started his career with the local high school team and then the Town team. He moved on to the Marlboro City Team and then to the Boston Red Sox. He was the property of the Boston Red Sox when WWI broke out. Following the War, he played on many minor league teams across the country.
