Title
Aerial Photograph of the Mill Complex
Description
A photograph of the Mill Complex and surrounding area.
Orientation: Above the intersection of Walnut & Main Streets facing east.
In the lower left is the Masonic Building (Main Street) with the Telephone Exchange building behind it. This is followed by River Street and the Assabet River which flows behind River Street, under the Walnut Street Bridge and down Walnut Street alongside the Mill.
After the bridge, is (the former) Tobin's Vending Machine business and restaurant, followed by a parking lot and Hillside Street.
The area above the Mill Complex was known as the "Maynard Hills" consisting of Dartmouth, Chandler, and Elmwood Streets.
At the very top of the photo, about 1/3 in from the left, is the Coolidge School.
