Maynard hometown resident, Normie Sims '27 (Francis Norman Sims, 1907 -1994) was inducted into The Boston College High School Hall of Fame along along with 8 other alumni in 1980. After graduating from BC High, Normie attended the College of the Holy Cross and was Baseball Captain in 1931.
