This hat was worn by James J. Mullin as Grand Marshall for Barbecue Day Parade on October 12, 1916. This Barbecue was put on in an attempt to raise funds for a Soldiers and Sailors Memorial.
Tall hat worn by Gavin Taylor, Sr. for ceremonials on the Masonic Order.
The "Mayor of Bughouse" Tall Hat. Bughouse was the name of a small eating and drinking place at the corner of Waltham and Parker Streets. That neighborhood was always referred to as "Papermill Corner". The modern generation referred to it as "Bughouse Corner"
A round Tall Hat is part of the collection but has no identifiers.
