• Over the past half century, St. Bridget's Choir has been a mainstay in the day to day worship of St. Bridget's Church in Maynard, MA. The choir has sung for funerals, celebrations, confirmations, communions, holidays and installation services. The choir has been lauded on many occasions as an exceptional singing group for such a small religious community. In 1982, His Eminence, Umberto Cardinal Medeiros, while celebrating the centcanial mass at the church, exclaimed "This choir sounds like it has come from Lincoln Center!"
• The membership has dropped over the past several ycars for a variety of reasons. The choir needs to be revitalized with the addition of new members. No experience is necessary, just an abiding love and appreciation of good religious singing. Contributing your talents, large or small, assures the continuation of such an important group in the life of any religious community.
• The choir meets every Wednesday from 7:00-9:00pm and on Sundays from 8:30-10:30am.
The choir sings for the 9:30am mass every Sunday.
Repertoire ranges from contemporary to classical to gospel to folk.
• As we begin a new phase in the life of St Bridget's
Church when we join forces with two other parishes, it is imperative we hold on to that which has been made us great and one of which is our choir.
