Concord, Maynard & Hudson Street Railway

Description

A promotional brochure produced by the Concord, Maynard & Hudson trolley and sponsored by various merchants along the route from Hudson to Concord. From the introduction: "The completion of the Concord, Maynard and Hudson Street Railway connects important trolley lines and opens to electric travel a section of the country hitherto untraversed by the steel roadway."

The brochure describes the country along the route including photos of historic houses, bridges and buildings. It includes a fold out map that shows the original route. It was later extended from Maynard to South Acton and then to West Acton.

The photos show two sample covers of different editions and several content pages.
