Maynard Tiger sports teams are represented on this float in the Football Rally Parade on Nason Street. "68" is on the truck door (class of '68?), which provides a possible date for the photograph. Each class would enter a Float. The Building on the left was the Knights of Columbus. The Float is Heading up Summer st toward the old George Washington Auditorium .

The Football Rally was held in front of it with the football team sitting on the front stepsThe band would be there along with the Cheerleders performing out front.The Coaches would speak than all the Seniors would speak. most would say
" With your support we will win". The Rally and Parade were mostly held on the Wednesday night before the Thanksgiving game. The players would either walk or ride the Parade route. The coaches would ride in convertibles or other open cars. The American Legion would enter their "Leaping Lena" car.
The Parade Would Start at the George Washington Auditorium proceed down Summer st to Nason St than down Main st to the beginning of Summer st back to the George Washington auditorium.
