Title
Assabet Village Minutemen Articles of Incorporation
Description
The Assabet Village Minutemen incorporated in 1975. While Maynard did not come to exist until 100 years after the Revolutionary War, the towns of Stow and Sudbury from which Maynard was carved did send Minutemen to various battles. The area of Maynard in those days was referred to as Assabet Village and so the Assabet Village Minutemen were meant to represent the men from our local area who took arms against the British in 1775.
