Title
Mill Clock Tower Postcards - 1992
Description
Two Mill Clock Tower postcards produced during the 1992 Centennial celebration. Photo is by Samuels Studio, Maynard, MA. The Clock Tower was erected in 1892 and sits atop the historical American Woolen Mills which graces the center of Maynard, MA. Clock faces are nine feet across and still show accurate time, thanks to a weekly winding by hand. Note the postcard on the left shows the clock hands in the correct position, however, a number of postcards were printed in error with the clock hands in reverse as shown by the postcard on the right.
