Description
A blue medicine bottle from B. F. Johnson & Son Pharmacy, Maynard. They ran a drug store in Maynard from 1874, located near the corner of River & Main Streets. Johnson purchased the apothecary from Thomas Wouldhave on Main Street and later moved to the Masonic Block, then to Creighton's Block. They sold the business to Whitney & Knoll, who sold it to Harley Dwinell in 1902. Dwinell sold it M. B. Church who later sold it to Jim Ledgard, Howard Wilson and Charles Warren. Later, Jim Ledgard took over the business and moved to his own block on Nason St. It is now owned by Walter Duddy and still keeps the name of Johnson Pharmacy (as of ? ).
