A copy of the Assabet Valley Beacon published on June 24, 1971 was found in the Maynard Centennial Time Capsule. The Capsule was opened in 2021.

A comprehensive scrapbook of the events leading up to the 100th Anniversary of the incorporation of Maynard. Most of the scrapbook are newspaper clippings from the Assabet Beacon but also includes artifacts such as tickets.
