7 assorted wooden thread spools. These spools are no longer made - only plastic is used now.

Three burling irons used in the old burling room of the Assabet Mills. Two were used by Miss Eleanor Sheridan. A third was donated by Mr. Havelock Schnair. Burling irons were used to pick knots and burrs from the cloth.

A black hat box from the Serv-U-Shop, Maynard, Mass. The shop was begun by Miss M. F. Spinney in 1924, and ultimately closed in 1973. This hatbox belonged to Mary Mabel Holly (Comeau).
