Former Town Hall / Assabet & Middlesex Houses
143 Main Street - Built in 1901 by the American Woolen Company as a boarding house with 8 rooms. Sold to Town of Maynard in 1934. Used as Town Hall until 1962. U.S. Post Office built on site in 1963.

Forest Fire Pump
Maynard Fire Department
The Forest Pump was built from an old Moth Department sprayer. At the extreme right is Ray Carruth, a town mechanic who did most of the work building the trailer. The body of water shown was later filled and is the location of St. Bridget's School.
