Forty-Four (44) Star American Flag
This old American Flag contains forty-four stars. Wyoming, the 44th state, was added to the Union on July 10, 1890. Utah, the 45th state, entered the Union on January 4, 1896. This flag must be dated somewhere between 1890 and 1896.

First Anniversary Armistice Day Flag & Button - 1919
A pin with a "First Anniversary Armistice Day Nov. 11th, 1919" imprinted upon it. A ribbon flag is attached.
A Centennial Flag
The Centennial Flag was presented to the Centennial Committee by the Brothers of the Brush at the opening ceremony, April 19, 1971. It was flown from the staff at the Town Hall Building until July 5th.

This service flag was made by James Ledyard, Sr. He had three boys serving in WW II: William, James, and John.

This flag was use on the casket of Sylvestor Strout, a Civil War Veteran. He was the Great Grandfather of Howard Whitney.
Bicentennial Bennington Flag "76"
This flag displayed the original 13 star flag that our founding fathers waved so proudly in 1776.
Knights of Columbus Memorial Flags
For several years we placed one of these on the grave of each deceased member of the Maynard Council. This tradition was discontinued about twenty years ago (c.1975). There are 2 in total.

Together To Victory Banner - ca1940's
The crossed Union Jack and United States Flag indicating solidarity during World War II. The three dots and a dash is Morse Code for letter V.
Ayer Mass Flag
This was likely given to Maynard at the time of the centennial, 1971. Ayer was incorporated in the same year as Maynard, 1871.
