WPA, Works Progress Administration, renamed Work Project Administration in 1939, was the largest New Deal program to help the country to recover from the Great Depression of the 1930's.
Booth's Pool Parlor and Bowling Alley - ca 1915
Located on Nason Street in the alley behind where the banks are now located. Jack Booth, in straw hat, was the owner. Later owned by George "Cubie" Lynch and then "Tutto" Graceffa who moved it to Main Street.
