The church's cornerstone was laid on May 23, 1923 at the corner of Walnut and Thompson Streets. Its bell tower contains what used to be the curfew bell at the American Woolen Mill.
The pastor at that time was Rev. Johannes Vaanaren.

In 1926 St. Casimir's Parish bought the land and power station building formerly owned by the Concord, Hudson and Maynard Street Railway on Great Road. The building was remodeled and blessed on November 12, 1928.
