Guyer Fowler School Dedication Ceremony
The School was located on Summer Street. The Dedication took place in the George Washington Auditorium part of the complex. Guyer Fowler was a member of a notable Maynard family.
Guyer W. Fowler
Son of Orrin Fowler who owned Fowler Funeral Home. Guyer also ran the Funeral Home for many years. Guyer is the grandson of Henry Fowler, an original signer of the 1871 petition for incorporation of the Town of Maynard.

A black and white photo of the Fowler School, photo taken in 1970. The school was built in 1926, named the Emerson Junior High School in 1932 and renamed the Fowler School in 1964.

Located at Paper Mill Corner, Waltham and Parker Streets, it was later moved to Parker Street and demolished in 2011.
