George “Doddy” Woodart, part Native American, who lived at Lake Boon for many years as a caretaker and handyman around the cottages.

Dedicated on Sunday, November 15, 1925 in honor of the men who gave their lives in World War I. Congressman Edith Nourse Rogers of Lowell was the principal speaker.
